Well, the fact that you put times above (i.e. like 2 hours or 10 minutes) shows you're taking things way too seriously, and it's fucking up your game. Treat her like a dude you've known for 5 years. Night club and bar game has a natural time limit built in. Most places, the bar closes at 2. People get bored after 3-4 hours. So the usual pattern is that you meet the girl before 12, attract, build trust the rest of the time, and be able to "make sure she gets home safe" at 2 or 3. The end of the night is usually a shit show, but it's a predictable one.

My sequence

Step 1. Assessing the situation with the girl is first, minute at most.

Step 2. Say your first words and be prepared to monologue for five minutes with little more than nods, yes and no's, and her continued physical presence.

Step 3. When she does break, that's the social hook point, and what you expect to happen is that she doesn't mind chatting with you 50/50. Doesn't mean she wants to sleep with you. Because girls will chat with almost anyone. Maybe 7 minutes in.

Step 4. Confirm your initial assumptions from step 1. Ask her where her friends are. How she got to the venue and all the logistical questions that are necessary to whisk her out of there when the time is right. You have to meet them, instead of them meeting you. 10 minutes.

Keep in mind, you have not negged, complimented, told any emotionally gripping stories, or any sort of heavy attraction material.

The fact that you're able to capture the girl's attention is attractive in and of itself. That's one of the unspoken features of classic indirect game.

You're chatting this girl up like you'd chat up an old man at the grocery or woman on the bus or bored sandwich artist at Subway.

Step 5. Meet the friends. You run group game stuff. So maybe you're at the 15-20 minute mark.

Step 6. Isolate the girl by borrowing her from her friends. Now run your attraction material.

When you start out, you run the material until she starts giving you positive signals, other than her continued presence.

When you're experienced, the shy girl that sticks around is enough.
Really hot but also socially savvy girls like to not react. So their continued presence is also enough.

But as a newb, you depend on feedback.

The clock doesn't matter at this point, because you're building no longer building up psychological attraction, but you're checking to see how much she's cooperating with you, how much of your leadership she's willing to accept.

You're expecting 50/50 banter, not just polite exchange of information. The difference between a lively class discussion and something two lovers have in the movies. She's emotionally engaged.

You give her chances to cooperate, you break the touch barrier, etc. If she doesn't want to cooperate now, you withdraw what makes you psychologically interesting and attractive, but stay in her presence. She'll want to play again, but you're creating an unspoken boundary.

She wants more fun? She has to cooperate.

There are other parts of the sequence here (like escalation) but I'll chill on that for now.

When she cooperates, you can tell her that you like her. But never before. The basic rule of indirect is the she has to need you FIRST.

If you did this direct, you still need to get her cooperation, so the same basic steps apply. But direct forces the girl to make a decision based on her initial impression. Direct is ideal for spring break scenarios. Whereas you can use indirect anywhere.

This is the sexual hook point. Before she didn't mind chatting. Now she can't get enough and wants to vibe your ear off.

Step 7. When the girl is cooperating, return to the group. The clock doesn't matter at this point, but her being in to you does. The group may be 50/50 on you, but now the girl is on your side.

At this point you should shift into the getting to know you type chat and building trust stuff.

Step 8. You should know the logistics at this point, because you get phone numbers on bad logistics.

So within the trust phase, you're giving the girl and her friends options that lead back to your place.

Step 9. Now you're alone, now the talking takes a backseat, and the communication is mostly nonverbal. Please refer to the socially approved sources on hooking up.

Start to finish this can be 90 minutes to 7 hours.

It can be done faster, when you recognize the nonverbal signals.

But the attraction and trust building stages don't have strict time limits. The social hook point can be infinite as well, but I don't want to spend more than 5-10 minutes on a chick that's no fun to talk to.

In terms of timing, girls you meet from 10-11 and really have chemistry with - those can be a pain. The only real move here is to get them out of the club and possibly back. This doesn't apply to happy hour,.as you need to work fast.

11-1 is the first sweet spot.

And then golden hour, when people start to leave but the girls struck out in the club. 1:30-2:30.

The sequence is for the most part pretty logical. The real work a guy needs to do is two fold. His ability to handle his fear and his ability to talk to strangers.

Fear of approach and fear of escalation.

Talk to one stranger and talk to groups of strangers.

The two things are tied together, and most newb practical problems are linked to one of these 4.

I feel like you've been watching a few too many pickup videos without developing you're social skills and calibration to go along with it.

For some people following checklists helps, but no pickup is ever the same. Also numbers are meaningless without her liking you enough to hang out again.

Primarily you want to be approaching girls and building chemistry and sexual tension. Once you've done that it's about figuring out logistics and seeing if it's actually possible to get her home that night. It's simple as that. Yeah moving a girl through a club for example is good in that you're leading, but that's just part of building sexual chemistry, it isn't 100% necessary.

What I'd recommend is to stop thinking of it as a process. Instead go out to try and meet and click with high quality girls and just have fun. Really try to build connection with them. If you're doing it well and logistics are good maybe you will get laid, otherwise she should like you enough to hang out again.
