From another forum. One guy said he had approach anxiety, and here is the reply.
Yep, approach anxiety is a real bitch. There's a few things that might help with it though. 1) learn your own value. Women aren't as focused on looks as men, unless they meet Chad. There are two strategies for men. Alpha and beta. Chad is alpha, pure animalistic lust. Chances are you won't compete there, very few can. Beta is wealth and success. There's a reason woody allen etc get laid, and it's not because they're physically sexy. The main point is to be confident in your own value proposition. You may need to build it up as well.
Assuming this is correct, essentially he's saying you can either be "alpha" in some way.. rugged, confident, socially connected, masculine.. etc.
Or you can be beta, which means in this case you don't have to be hyper-masculine or outspoken, but you have to be successful.. e.g. have some higher education, have good career prospects, a functional social life, etc.
Is this correct? Is there really no other way to attract women?
With both of these categories that he discusses, this does not leave any room for the autistic loser who's not good at anything, and has no career because he really can't handle it. Would such a guy be doomed with women? If so, that certainly strikes me as brazenly unfair. There is supposed to be a lid for every jar.
Any thoughts?
