Wanted to get some opinions on this and have a discussion. For those who don't know, the three day rule is a rule that when you get a girl's number, you have to wait 3 full days before contacting her. This is so you don't seem needy.

My opinion is that this is such BS. Firstly, the three day rule has been popularized by romcoms and so many women know about it too. If I was a woman and I got a text 3 days after giving a guy my number I would think that he's clearly followed this 3 day rule and has gone out of his way to count 3 days before texting me and that he is clearly too insecure to just text me when he wants to. But if he texted me the same day I would think "oh, this guy is clearly comfortable with himself and doesn't care about these stupid rules and just texts me when he wants to".

Again this is just my opinion. Would love to hear some others.
