Step 1: look at /r/tinder for 5-10 minutes a day (gives you good ideas of lines)

Step 2: watch all HowToBeast’s YouTube videos on tinder and texting.

Those two things will give you more than enough concrete information to excel.

Focus on meeting girls in real life and doing things you like. You will have more success if you develop confidence doing things in real life than on a competitive dating site.

how long have you been using Tinder?
How many matches do you have?
what percentage do you swipe right on?

Here's my advice I easily have over 100 matches.

use photfeeler to rate your pics. Use an iPhone. take the pics in natural light. try different angles. rate them and pic your best pics.
make sure you try to exchange contact information by the 5th exchange this screens out those who are playing.
link to their IG and add them this is another way to talk to those you aren't even matches with that works for me at a consistent rate as well.

Honestly, I find using the same old canned lines is hit or miss and generally been done a million times before you.

If you're looking to kick off a conversation, I generally look back at their profile and read their bio/look at their pics and find something funny to open with.

Example; Matched a girl playing ukulele in one of her pictures, so I opened with "Hey ____, I really hope you plan on serenading me with your ukulele" and immediately she responded with something also funny/witty. We hit it off almost instantly, but never lined a date up because of conflicting schedules.

Ideally, you want to be yourself (if you're a humorous person, then that's a super bonus) and sprinkle in some humor.

Once you have some back and forth banter going on, just ask for her number and then text her to set up plans for a date. It's pretty simple once you stop overthinking the initial steps. Worst case she ghosts/flakes and really it cant be helped. Some people are just like that, but remember it's not a reflection upon yourself but rather just their own lives/personalities. I always consider it a blessing, as I don't have time for people who are half hearted and unsure so they naturally filter themselves out.
