Don’t waste your time on dating apps unless your a profile is well above average man. Tinder did a study that found that women on the app generally found 88% of the men unattractive or undateable. The standards are ridiculously high. For years I thought I was less attractive because of my tinder results, then started cold approaching and started getting dates with the same girls that probably swiped left on me on tinder.

Tinder is very objective:

- Your pics show that you are a good looking, with social validation and possibly wealthy = match

- Your pics don't show any of this = no match

It's pathetic, I know, but this is the name of the game. Woman have an endless menu of men they can swipe right, so just putting 'ok' pics of you with your dogs in your couch and a selfie mirror will not be enough, even if you're a decent looking guy.

The golden age of tinder for me was 2012-2016. I ate well. Most of the accounts now are straight up bots and scammers

Depends how you look, not if your photos are decent or interesting, if you look good decent pictures are a plus, if you don't look good decent pictures are useless.

If you’re physically good looking, you get matches. I almost never meet people from Tinder tho (except crazy chicks/BPD girls sadly).

If you do get a lot of matches, however, this shows something. You are at least physically in the top 20ish percentile. What that tells you/me is that you need to work on your flirting skills, and you’ll kill it IRL (which is objectively better and easier)

On a serious note: anime, hitting up the beach and love sushi is basic as fuck. I'd rather not have a description at all, than that.

I'm a tall guy. At one point, the only thing I had in my description was my height. I was getting quite a lot of matches. Descriptions should either be a flex or something witty.

There's a million other dudes who like anime, eat sushi and like walking on the beach, so clearly, they're doing something better than you since you're not getting any match.

Find a way to set yourself apart. You must have something that does set you apart, nobody is that bland. You just have to figure that thing out and display it on your profile.
