Had this happen to me and this was my first time getting ANY traction with a girl. She "wants" to reschedule but its been a few days and she has 't brought it up.

This is great advice in the short term but it could be relied on as a crutch eventually. By this I mean that if the flaking really bothers you emotionally then doing something else fun by yourself will cover that up. But it doesn't deal with the fact that you got upset by the fact that she flaked, which is a real issue that needs adressing, not escaping from.

It's also much better to build your life such that you already have stuff going on that you can bring a girl into rather than hinging your plans on her arriving and feeling like there is now a vacuous hole in your time that you have to try and fill. I always go by the logic that if I wouldn't enjoy it alone, why the fuck am I taking someone else to do it?

you do realise normal people never go to public events, movies, restaurants by themselves? and think of loners like your as a losers, right?
