What are your "dos and don'ts" on CALLING a girl you don't know very well? This could be the day after you get her number, or after an iffy first date, etc. The reason I ask is because a buddy of mine is an absolute god at pulling beautiful women, and he swears by the power of calling them up to set up dates rather than texting them.

 

But like most things, I'm sure it's all in the execution. I.e. calling her up and saying, "Erm, hello, it's Jeff from the bar, how's uh....how you doing?" is probably going to have bad results. Have you found success in calling girls? If so, what do you say? One challenge I've had is girls who just say "yeah Friday sounds good see you then bye!!!!" (when clearly they just want to get you tf off the phone)

 

Also thinking about this in the context of Tinder. Like, if a girl gave her number and the text convo fizzled out and she didn't reply. Would it be weird to call her a week later as a last ditch? Or let that die a natural death?
