Too much teasing

I tease/playfully challenge/push girls too much.

That stuff is great early on, but once she's hooked, dial it back a bit and just use it occasionally to keep her on her toes.

Can you guys give me your best knowledge/tips on how to emotionally connect with women?

You drop the jokes and talk about things that are important to each of you. And not just the surface level stuff... talk about the emotional underpinnings of the stories.

It's called building rapport. Basically you can ask her something like this "what's your most embarrassing child hood moment". You listen, you can still tease a little, the fun and playful vibe should never be totally off but it should be minimized in the rapport building period.

Then you can share something that has similar emotions[in this case it's embarrassment] that's how you make a connection.

Edit: there's two types of rapport, wide and deep. Wide rapport would be how you both can't stop eating Pringles once you have one or something that isn't dealing with a deep emotion. Deep rapport would be how maybe you both had your childhood cat die and how distraught you felt afterwards.
