I've encountered some self-confidence issues in college. Call it "Little Fish in a Big Pond" syndrome but it's really hurt my game. I mean what makes a girl want to get to know me if there are thousands of guys in this school better looking/more interesting/more confident/in better shape than me. Don't get me wrong, I like to think of myself as tall (6'2"), dark (Spanish blood), and handsome, and interesting, but I really lack self-confidence.

SO. I've decided to try something new. After a few months on SSRI Anti Depressants, as well as some helpful advice from Seddit, I've stopped giving so many fucks, and I now have a new approach. I now try to talk to anyone and everyone. If it's a gas station attendant, I ask them how their day is, and if they're almost off the clock. Everybody. At least some sort of conversation. Even small talk is better than silence. Also, I've began to work on my eye contact. If I find myself in a conversation with a girl, rather than being nervous and squirming and flicking my eyes from left to right with little contact, I now look straight at the person I'm talking to, as if nothing around us in the world matters. A little smile now and then never hurts either.

I'm still very far from the confidence level I'd like to be at, but progress is progress right? Any tips or advice Seddit?
