So I've been trying a new tactic on girls who don't text back after a first date to create a sense of takeaway. If the date was positive and ended in kiss I almost always send a 'had fun, lets do it again soon' text within 24 hours of a date to set up an informal next date. If a girl responds within 24 hours I'll text back in a few days to set something up. If they don't text back in 24 hours of mine I've found that the success rate for me has been very low for their being a 2nd date. Recently I've tried unmatching the girl after 24-48 hours of no response after a first date and the 3 girls I've tried it with all of them texted me back pretty shortly after. 1 to set up another date and the other 2 politely said no thanks which I appreciated a lot more than ghosting. I feel like this gives a sense of takeaway without being needy or butthurt, but I need to experiment with it a bit further. Anyone else try this or have any thoughts on it?
