So I wanted to write a short update because I feel like what I've seen here has helped my situation out quite a bit.

We had initially planned a dinner near where she lives because I live ~hour away and wanted it to be more convenient for her. She previously stated that she wanted this to be just a dinner and I think it would have been that if I didn't push it. So after reading some of the replies, on the day of the date I made up some excuse and changed the dinner location closer to where I live and picked her up. I think she kinda picked up on the idea but still agreed. We carried on with the dinner and I invited her over because it was now super close anyway. Turned on a movie, confessed the excuse I made earlier was a complete lie, and you know how the rest goes *wink*.

We now have a second date set up at the initial restaurant we were supposed to eat at, but I think I can just ask her to come over afterwards now. Is there any better way to ask her to come over? I don't want to seem like I'm desperate to have her over because I really like this girl and don't want to 'rush' anything. Thanks for any input again!
