A lot of posters seem very concerned about not having lost their virginity, or having romantically kissed a girl. I wanted to give some perspective, based on my personal experience and opinions.

I kissed a girl for the first time at 21. I had sex for the first time a week later(with someone else). And I think I'm pretty average in this way. There are statistics out there suggesting the average American loses their virginity at 17. I say to that...HOGWASH. These types of surveys have the same sorts of biases that self-reported penis length surveys have. Movies perpetuate the myth that not having had sex while in high school is a terribly bad thing. If you're going a few years further than you had wished, it's not an existential crisis. It may just mean you aren't meeting enough women or have neglected some basics.

Not having lost your virginity isn't the problem, it's just a symptom. If you're under 21 and a virgin, congrats! You're ahead of where I was, and I've had a boat load of partners since. Focus on your real problems (depression, social anxiety, physical fitness, diet, career, education, friendships, family, etc). If you're in a rut, do something drastic (move cities, focus on improvement, etc). The fact that you are here means you're already looking for ways to improve yourself. Keep going.
