I roll my eyes every time someone talks about how alpha a person on TV or in movies is because real life just doesn't work that way.

Even so, I have to say that Mike Rowe is pretty good, and he's not on a script. Now granted, you don't see a lot of hotties on Dirty Jobs, at least not the episodes I have seen, but you can tell the women love him. He keeps them laughing.

Occasionally he'll get a dude who tries to AMOG him a bit, and Mike handles it like a champ. He's friendly, but he keeps a good strong frame - even physically shoving men around if need be, but with a smile.

Great example of an alpha male being alpha just because that's who he is, not because he's at the club or on the prowl.
