It looks like you have some self image issues.

Think about it - you say you're an uninteresting guy, but you have interesting "parts" of your life, and hobbies.

What do you think makes a person interesting except that they DO interesting things now and then, and talk about it?

I've been told I'm a pretty interesting guy, and I still spend 8h a day sleeping, a few hours a day cooking food, a few hours a day on the internet, a lot of time on trains and sitting around in airports. In fact, if you counted up the "interesting" parts of my life they'd probably be 5% of my day at most. Yet I see myself as interesting.

Anyway, the short answer is you need to learn how to talk about yourself and make it sound interesting. You don't have to be a rockstar banging models on your yacht to be interesting.

You can't really avoid talking about yourself. It will make you look more strange than mysterious. Give a short answer and then ask her about herself. My hobbies? Well, I like to play baseball. Do you play any sports? You look like you play volleyball with those long legs of yours

Why do you think you are uninteresting? Even though you are hiding it, just having the mindset that you are not an interesting person affects the way you talk and behave around others(as you've noticed)

Opening up and getting to know eachother is a two way street.

This is just a story you tell yourself. You can be as interesting as you want to.

By not answering those questions, you are killing any rapport and comfort that you would otherwise have built up.... it is a recipe for losing girls.

Change your story, be interesting!

You think you're uninteresting? So change that. Do shit you think is cool but never tried before. You'll create good experiences, have fun, feel more confident, and meet people with similar interests.

If you think you're uninteresting, I would not even worry about women right now. Make yourself interesting, or better yet, right down a list of your hobbies.

I guarantee you have interesting things about you, you may just not believe them. I've had full blown conversations with girls about shit I thought was interesting that usually they couldn't care less about, but because I was passionate about it, they were sucked in.
