This past weekend I was out at a club seeing an electro-trance dj with a couple of my friends. While we were there we happened to cross paths with a group of girls my roommate knew from his business fraternity. Naturally he introduced us to a few of them and I talked to a few of them briefly. I kept dancing with a girl that came with us when the openers were wrapping up and we were all really getting into the music.

The show began and everyone was having a great time dancing. At some point during the show I looked back and made eye contact with one of the girls from my buddies fraternity. We locked eyes for what seemed like awhile. She shot me a huge smile which I returned. I went back to dancing with our friend for awhile. I looked back again and made good eye contact with her again. This is when I made my move.

I stopped dancing and approached her. She was wearing LED rave gloves and I went up and danced with her a bit. She let me borrow her gloves (of course I let her help me put them on). I joked with her that I had been dancing with my buddy all night because he has a girlfriend that wasn't there and I didn't want him to get lonely, but I guess I could take a break to dance with her. We started grinding to the music. She seemed real into me as she did not stop smiling the entire time. After awhile I left her and went back to dancing with the girl that came with us. Eventually I looked back again and made eye contact yet again with this girl.

I went back to dance with her again/play with her gloves. Lots of playful touching the entire time. It was getting close to the end of the show so I asked her if she would like to come back to our place (me and my buddies' house) for an after party. She told me it was her friends birthdays and that she had to do whatever they were going to do aka not come over. I got her phone number on my friends phone because mine had gotten broken the previous day. Sooner or later she was about to gather her friends to leave, and gave me a quick kiss goodbye. I end up going to get my jacket and meet up with my friends and go outside the club. She is outside with her friends, without a jacket. I give her my jacket when I see this and insist she wear it. We wait around for awhile trying to call a cab, they leave so she gives me back my jacket.

In the cab after the show my buddy tells me how she graduated from college last year and is a grown woman with a legit job. I am blown away by this as I am about halfway through college and at least two years younger than her. He says she's real chill and that I should pursue her, which gets me even more excited.

Soon after we separate I send her a text of our address in case she is interested in coming over. She replies that her and her friends are going to get food, but to text her from my number when I get a new phone. Two days later I finally have a phone and text her again. Lots of playful texts back and forth, however she takes multiple hours to respond, which in return I take just as long to get back to her. This results in a painfully drawn out conversation.

So its been a few days now of texting. I'll neg her once and awhile, which she usually responds with smiley faces and exclamation points. Today we were talking about future shows and she tells me one of our favorite artists is coming to town in a few months. I take this opportunity to say "Are you trying to ask me out on a date?;) Your treat since you asked me right?" I am still waiting to here back from her as it takes a long long time for her to respond.

What could I have done better? She's dead sexy and I am nervous she just will never respond. She has a career and travels a lot so I do not really know what opportunities I would have to go out with her as it would most likely only be when she was back visiting people at our college. Can anyone please give me advice/ways to improve? I am kicking myself for not making out with her at the show, as she is the one that kissed me before leaving. Thank you everyone! Be harsh please!
