I guess this is a warning to my fellow seducers out there, hopefully you don’t get put in a similar situation to this.

So went for a solo night last week, end up meeting a girl at the bar. She says she’s with her gay best friend so I introduce myself and the night goes on. I have an eye for jewellery so I noticed her Cartier rings and complimented them early on (this is important) Long story short, the night is coming to an end and she says her place isn’t too far away so we end up going back to her place. We end up smashing and I stay for a while then up and leave. The next morning I wake up in my bed to missed calls and texts saying I stole her Cartier ring when I was leaving. I’m baffled so I call her and try to understand the situation. She’s adamant that I’m some serial thief that approaches women to try and rob them when I’m back at their place. In my head I’m thinking the worst because if she decides to spin this story I could end up looking real bad. The worst possible scenario I could think of is if she said “he seduced me, got me drunk, done the deed without consent and robbed me” as there is it would turn into a situation of my word against hers. As the week goes on I’m stressing. She eventually finds her ring under her bed somehow and finally I was at ease - blocked her and moved on.

So I guess my question is , how would you guys have avoided such a situation??
