Something I noticed recently is that your bedroom should always have interesting things in it. This is crucial for two reasons:

1) it gives you something to talk about 2) it can be revealing of who you are and your interests

And a third lesser reason is that it can help set the mood.

Anyways I’m a college student and whenever I go out on the weekends and manage to bring a girl over (or even if I’m in a study-group and I suggest we study at my house) I love showing people my bedroom because I have interesting trinkets that open up so many interesting conversations. For example on my wall I have several paintings as well as several flags for my nationalities as well as my fraternity flag. I also have several plants, artifacts and wine collections. All these items explain my fascination with history, art, and my travel experiences and I looove to talk about them, and being asked questions about them. I feel like, whether it’s a one night stand or more, this helps the girl get to see how interesting I am without me ever having to say it, and as a person who at times runs out of things to talk about, this can be great.
