In the past few months I've had conversations where girls will try to steer the narrative to say "You are gay".

Obviously not all the time is it that direct. Sometimes it can be like "I feel like you like to paint nail/ do makeup" or "you must love to hook up with other guys".

For some reason I can never think of anything witty for these shit tests. My natural response would be "No I am not gay! Otherwise why would I be talking to you?" but I would like some tips on how to steer it to more playful banter
