The main key is to not go out with the sole intention of hitting on women. That’s the problem with a lot of guys here. The go out to some mall or grocery store or park and just wander around like a loser looking for any girl that’s remotely attractive and shooting their shot. Even though they don’t have to actually be at those places. Or ask 40 different girls where the closest Starbucks is even though they don’t need to go to Starbucks. And women can sense how desperate you are and what your intentions are.

Another thing that guys do wrong is that they aren’t genuine in their interactions. There’s a lot of debate between direct or indirect approach (both work). But the reason many guys fail with direct approach is because, again, they’re just walking around in a single day telling 50 different girls that they “thought they were cute and wanted to meet them.” It’s not the lines that they are saying that causes them to fail, it’s the intention behind the words. Women can tell if men are being genuine. They can tell if a compliment truly comes from the heart and from a man asking for nothing in return, instead of most guys who use it as a bartering tool or as a way to get women to like them more. Most direct approaches come out of neediness and that’s why so many men fail.

I like to use the line “Hey I saw you over here and I thought you were cute. And I know I’m going to be kicking myself for the rest of the night if I didn’t come meet you.” But I only use this line on girls where I actually mean it. Maybe only 1-2 times in a night. And women just know you’re being genuine because I am. I’ve literally had women say that the way I approached was one of the best she’s ever seen. I’ve said this recently to a woman at a bar and she had a boyfriend but she respected my approach so much she wanted to introduce me to her single friends there. Being honest, genuine, vulnerable and seeking nothing in return is very powerful.

Don't go out for the purpose of meeting women. Right away your entire vibe and body language and behavior will communicate to women "IM NEEDY AND DESPERATE" and you won't get anywhere. Always have a clear purpose for going to place. Ideally, you will go out with friends just to have fun and enjoy yourself without any agenda or goals to meet women.

This will give off a vibe of being a fun guy who enjoys life, who is exciting to be around and who a woman will want to attach herself to. If you are sitting there trying to figure out what opener to use you so you can get her home, the majority of women will sense your neediness and will reject you. Actually, they are forced to reject you because you want to take something from them without their permission. Also, being needy already paints you as a low status male who doesn't get any.
