I know how incredibly stupid this sounds, but I haven't bothered with relationships or anything sexual since mid high school. I'm painfully shy and don't add to the conversations very well or even give much acknowledgement to her advances. It's embarrassing when you're expected to know what to do but you haven't got a clue and they look at you with a wtf expression. I don't even know what acceptable flirting would be, in school it was just a bunch of innuendo and that seemed to work. However now I feel that sort of thing would be too presumptuous.
