I've had more success with replying that I do something boring, like that I screw on the caps of toothpaste tubes in a factory. This works because it shows that you don't feel the need to brag about yourself, and it will lead her to believe that you actually do something interesting. And, the idea of an "interesting job" is better than the most interesting job in the world. Try it!

I wouldn't do that, especially if you just met her. It would probably be better to take it further by saying that you do something even more extreme until she gets it. But when you joke around like this, you should make it very obvious.

Take it further of course! Sounds like great opportunity to have some fun to me :-) Make up some crazy lion fight stories and things like that. See if you can make up more crazy stuff about yourself too.

I am sure this is not the best 'seduction' advice, but screw worrying about her reaction should she find out later on; there's too many women around to worry about this one - spare your real seduction energy for the brighter ones. And seriously, how often in life do you meet somebody who thinks you're a lion tamer?

I am dead serious here btw.

Never lie around women.

If she bought it, call her on it afterwards. If you can adapt it metaphorically, do it (e.g. you have a cat, or you're a teacher and the kids are lion cubs, etc)
