I get this question constantly from girls, even when I'm not suited up. Maybe I just have professional-looking hair?

Anyway, I've tried to handle it in a variety of ways, but I always feel like I could be doing it better.

My canned answer when I can't think of anything better is "Dolphin Trainer", which usually gets a laugh but then I invariably have to follow it up with the real job because my initial answer was so obviously fake.

I have a good job. I'm not a stripper scout or anything, it's an office job, but it's a very good one, although it's a finance job that takes some explaining for anyone to really understand what it is or how it works. It makes me provider material for sure, but I don't want to be seen that way by the girls.

I can give my flippant answer, get a laugh, give my real answer, and be perfectly proud about it, but I'm still qualifying myself. How do I address this question without having to qualify at all?

Maybe:

"Why, are you worried it's too cool compared to whatever you do?"

"What a boring question"

I really want something new and totally disarming though, something that will immediately make the girl have to qualify to me without my saying what I do. Some of you sneaky fuckers on here must have thought of something by now. Do tell.
