What do you guys do to be "well-rounded"?

It depends what you consider well rounded?

Me personally

Love watching anime
Love playing video games
Studying maths/economics/accounting
Go to Muay Thai classes
Go partying with my friends
Love getting lost on wikipedia and learning a tonne of shit
And best for last, reading shit on obscure subreddits

To most of my friends I'm the guy they come to when they wanna know whats up with Ebola, or the war in Syria, or the Scottish Independent Vote.

But I'm not that person because I want to be "well-rounded", I'm well-rounded because I am that person.

Where do you go to learn how to be funny? Etc

I don't really understand the question, I don't really know anybody that I speak to in a conversation where I don't end up having a laugh with them so I'm not sure where you "learn" to be funny. Just assume you're the funniest fucker in the room and say what you want to say.

It would help a lot if people gave a short background about themselves when they ask these kinds of questions and also if they say if they're trying to become a pick-up artist or just trying to improve their life/social life.

Joe Rogan podcast. Seriously. I loved it at first because he would talk about all these cool things and I would have to pause it and google all the things he brought up.

And most people think he is the shit and super smart because of the vast array of subjects he talks about. Like the Bonobo Chimps or his shroom experiences.

Eventually I started bringing this stuff up randomly in conversations with people I know, and since they don't listen to joe rogan, I seem to be a very interesting person to them.

People tend to think I am smarter than I actually am, I just read cool shit that actual smart people are relaying.

Really, I get all my news basically from Reddit. Reddit is what you make of it. Subscribe to subs where you'll learn stuff. I'm sure there is a humor one out there to help you

From a peer feedback session that I just had in class; a classmate told me, "You're really funny and you provide light in stressful situations.". I'm perceived this way because I say what I want to say, when I want to say it. There's not much of a filter in my brain so things tend to slip out. Initially, I wouldn't say something in hopes to avoid conflict. But as time goes on, people tend to dismiss the conflict provoking statements because its just "him saying the stuff he says". I read all sorts of articles thru Facebook, reddit, buzzfeed, etc. I pick up hobbies as often as I can. And I am learning how to cook. I find that the more information I take in, the more people I can relate to. Each conversation I have, I tie in an off the whim joke about it. People love others who are able to joke about themselves too. I hope this helps, feel free to break what I said down and ask questions.

Watch stand up comedy - it'll make you think about the world in a funnier way. Notice what makes certain jokes funny, pay attention to timing and body language. Just make sure you don't tell comedian's jokes to people, it will come across as fake since you aren't being authentic.
