What do you think about cheating when married?

I don't know anyone who hasn't, and I know a lot of married couples. On the other hand, my peer group absolutely blows the roof off of national divorce rates, so, grain of salt there.

The obvious answer here is obvious because it’s right: it’s better for the emotional connection in the relationship and health/cleanliness not to cheat without enthusiastic agreement from both partners (i.e., you can’t pressure someone to agree to it or surprise them that you cheated without agreement). If you can’t be honest about wanting to be faithful, don’t get married, just keep dating, or have the respect of your partner to agree in advance. I haven’t been with anyone else during my marriage and we’ve been together for nearly twelve years. Most of the reason for that is mutual attraction and mutual capacity to communicate in a mature way. I have sexual thoughts about others all the f’ing time, but I don’t act on them. The one time in ten years I ever wanted to act on it (the only time I met someone I was as attracted to as my spouse), I talked with my spouse in advance and we decided it wouldn’t be healthy for us emotionally and in terms of STI risk to open our marriage up for that experience.

Lots of reasons why it happens but the most important reasons are stupid sexual limitations or boundaries or dead bedroom. If you are not willing to suck a little dick or pussy be prepared for someone else to fill that spot.

I think marriage is tied to abundance. Back in " Ye Olden Times". Population was lower and your chance of death was much higher. The loyalty of marriage came from a feeling of safety. Husband keeps wife alive, wife bears children and keeps husband happy.

In today's marriages there is no " need" no worry of survival and practically no added benefit relationwise. People have sex with multiple people before marriage, most don't want children and then some will attempt to marry to " save" the child they are accidentally having.
