Hey /r/seduction!

I was wondering how come that is okay to say to everybody to be themselve.

I will put myself as an example. Girls have been telling me so many times that the first impression I gave out to them when meeting was an aura of tightness and rejection, strictness and unappealing, but when actually talking to me, they find it amusing how easy-going and playful I am, and can't understand that dicotomy.

So my question is, is it okay to be who someone is or are there actually stereotypes that fit better in society and, therefore, seducing?

I want your opinion on this.

Thxs!!
