Vulnerability is the ability to have the courage in showing others (in this case, a woman) your "flaws" or things that you think are "low value" such as being nervous or scared of approaching her.

It's seen as an attractive quality because women are programmed to like guys who are SOCIAL risk-takers. In other words: You're willing to get rejected or get laughed at by doing said action (approaching her).

Vulnerability (honesty) = trust.

Vulnerability is giving them a chance to reject you, whether it is just in your approach or sharing a personal desire / history.

it is attractive because it telegraphs you are willing to take risks, are comfortable with yourself and your desires, and also shows you can be trusted because you aren't looking to lie and hide things.

Think of the differencing between someone bragging about how amazing their job is vs. someone telling you how they are in between jobs but have a real vision for the future.

Which of those turns you off vs turns you on? which draws you in?

I think it just means openness. We all have our outer facades that we use in public - hiding our flaws, behaving in a way that is socially acceptable, putting ourselves in our best light. To reveal things that are behind that risks hurt because its the real us being shown.

Honesty about the sad and fucked up parts of your life. Of course, you have to be very careful about how much and what kind of vulnerability you show and when.
