One thing I have learned about PU is that you can't fake being interesting (or at least not for long).

Recently I have been filling my time with new hobbies/activities (ultimate frisbee, working out, boxing classes, reading more) and learning new skills (my new job requires us to make a lot of phone calls so it helps me work on striking up conversations some, but it is not nearly as beneficial as it would be to do in person) that I believe have been improving my game.

However, I was wondering what other people felt helped them.

Also, I was wondering what Seddit's view was on skills such as cooking and other tasks that are likely not initially beneficial.
