Chapter 10 of Models addresses a very important concept. We have the tendency to (subconsciously) tell ourselves stories that prevents us from taking action and approach women. Discovering what those stories are is the first step towards solving our issues and developing confidence. For example, people tell themselves that they don't care so much about picking up girls, that it's just not that big of a deal for them. Or sometimes they blame women for their lack of success, saying it's the women's fault not theirs.

My story is this. I tell myself that the women want to be left alone, and that I will be bothering them if I approach them. As a result, even if I do approach, I have this terrible feeling of guiltiness afterwards, as though as I had done something wrong. Now I realize that this is a huge misconception, and I am finally learning to approach them without feeling guilty.

I would like to know about other people's stories. I believe there might be other things I tell myself which are hindering me. So, what's your story?
