Here was the situation:

Ive been gaming a girl for a bit and ended up kissing her one night, and I thought things were going well. But one day we were hanging out and I was trying to escalate and she pretty much rejected me, said something like "I'm not really into this... I'm not looking for anything right now." At that point is it over, or is this just a shit test? How should I respond to something like this? I tried to react confidently and said something like, "thats alright, no worries. [insert inside joke sort of relevant to her saying no that is sort of funny]."

What's the best way to respond here?
