Hi everybody,

So I started to work on my social skills improving eye and physical contacts. I now understand how this non verbal communication is essential to create a connection with a person, and I like it.

But I'm struggling to understand the "thin line" between touching and looking in the eyes as a normal social skill and instead using it to show attraction and create sexual tension.

I know, usually it depends on the location where you are touching, the duration of the contact, and how you are touching.

I suppose that, following the Kino escalation, the first level is acceptable with everyone, the second with friends and family and if I continue to escalate then I arrive at a level which is only for showing attraction and intimacy.

How do you know that you won't be seen as the "creepy guy" who maybe touches in a inappropriate way a friend or that maybe won't show sexual attraction to a person and will be friendzoned?

I'm asking this because last weekend I try to kino escalate with a girl that I know and I arrive until the level where we touched on the low back, we holded hands and she naturally leaned on me. But then I asked her to dance and she refused. So I thought that there was sexual tension between us but apparently for her that level of touch was still a friendly level? I don't understand what I did wrong.

Many thanks in advance.
