You shouldn't pursue one girl at a time. You should have a few girls that you are "talking" with.

This will help prevent getting caught up on of them.

If you don't have a few girls that you are pursuing, then you need to meet more girls.

You meet more girls by joining clubs, going to parties, and approaching them in your every day life. Keep doing this until you are dating 3-4 at one time, then, if you want, pick one that you want as your gf. Or just keep dating a few at one time.

By having 3-4 girls on your radar, it should prevent you from over texting one girl and getting caught up in one of them as well.

And when you get friendzoned, make a decision, you either accept being a friend with her, or stop talking with her altogether. This will actually help your chances down the road with any of them AND save time.

For me, friendzoned is more about timing than attraction. I have dated a girl or two the second time around, so to speak. It just took several months, maybe a year, of leaving them alone and then running into them a while down the road.

My sister gave me really good advice after a girl rejected me and I was bummed out about it. "9/10 girls are going to reject you. Go with that mentality, that expectation, and the 9 that do reject you wouldn't have been great for you anyway probably." The ratio is much closer in my experience. Probably 3:1 or so for me.

Taking care of yourself: Grooming, maintenance, having good breath and hygiene, etc., is essential. Especially if you want things to go past a 1 night stand. Also, don't give it up the first night, even if you've been in a drought, even if she's down like a frown, make her wait. It's seemingly counter-intuitive but it works.

Don't necessarily go out and ask every girl you meet out, but definitely put yourself out there more than you already do. I've had a few girlfriends and they all have kind of shown up out of the blue, through a mutual friend, at a party, etc..

Be confident in who you are. Not everyone is Ryan Gosling, and not everyone is looking for Ryan Gosling.

Focus on inner game and developing yourself first, there are good articles in the side bar on it, and without developing this atleast at the same time you can have alot of problems especially with handling rejection and being confident and alpha.

none of the one night stands I've had can I attribute to my own game Don't fall for this trap. Very little of pickup is actually "game." I've seen guys waste years, even decades, trying to learn tricks and tactics.

The fact is, as a good-looking guy who's life is on an upswing, considering you've described getting happier and are in university now, most of the foundations are ready for you.

What I'd suggest is do less texting. Texting is okay, but it can be a time trap. Game happens face to face in meatspace. I'd also suggest more physical touch; nothing creepy like grabbing her ass or anything, start with hand on back sort of stuff. That's one of the easiest ways to see where a girl really "stands," if she's into you or not, in my experience.

Hey, I want to improve my success with girls and improve the general happiness of my life.

Two separate struggles in life. They can't intertwine.

So anyway, later that year I started university, and got a bit happier. However apart from one night stands here and there, which most of are just pot luck. (I'm often told I'm good looking, and none of the one night stands I've had can I attribute to my own game). Before any of this seduction stuff i recommend you visit reddit the red pill. Until you get rid of some of the bluepill shit in your head you wont hold a girl down. Also getting one night stands base on looks IS game playa. Your body language most be on point, its your neediness thats not making them stay long term imo. Good luck.
