The easiest nights are the nights when you can avoid the group altogether. The hardest nights for me are when I have to deal with multiple cockblocks- and sometimes I'll give up as soon as they present a challenge because it's not worth my time.

The girl you're with might be interested and shit, but her friends are either:

Not interested in you, and thus, don't think she should be either.
Jealous, and don't want her getting laid when they're not (or they just want a girls' night, and you're getting in the way of that).
Like Tofu said, they might just be protecting her for whatever reason.

Usually when that happens (and it happens a lot) I'll just walk off and find someone else or do something else. Then if I feel like going back, I'll go back and try the same shit again, or step it up and try to befriend the group. Befriending the group is the best way to ensure you get pussy later, but it's also a bitch to handle for me, so I'll either try to wait till the girl's alone again or just go for a different girl.

There's really two options for dealing with cockblocks, as far as I know. You either befriend them and get them to stop worrying about you, or you make some moves and escalate fast and get your girl out of there before the cockblocks have any time to stop it. I prefer the latter, and if it's not doable, I usually won't waste more time- because before you know it you've spent 3 hours on one girl just to inevitably find out that she was never gonna be able to go home with you anyway. And her friends were a bunch of bitches so you leave the place with blue balls, some depression, and a hatred of females- when you easily could've just found someone else instead.

Time's an important factor for me because I learned the hard way that More Time usually equals Less Success. If you can befriend the group in five minutes and then isolate, you're golden- though they still might try to cockblock later but at least now they're friendly. If you can't befriend them early for whatever reason, it's like trying to scale a cliff- fuckin difficult, and risky since you still might not be getting any sex.

Just remember for next time- walk away like it's no biggie, meet some other people, then go back to the group and see if you can get all of em eating out of your hand before you try to isolate the girl again. And if you want, play the jealousy card by acting more interested in one of the friends.

Pro-tip: win over her entire group, not just her. The group can be your best friend or worst enemy.

I saw one guy making out with a girl who was obviously wasted and her friend came over, put her arm between them, hooked her friend and literally pulled as hard as she could. At one point the girl was at 45 degrees still making out with the guy!

In the end he took her home, but not without allot of hassle.
