I'm seeing a lot of hate on no long conversations while texting or using it only for setting up dates... But why?

When I get a number, I build a little rapport with them and get a date set up, but after the date some of our conversations are a bit longer (no more than 20 minutes per) when we're both available; otherwise, we sometimes text throughout the day when we're not busy. Some of my replies are pretty delayed since I'm really busy during the summer and I'll send them some cool action shots.

In person when we meet for the first date we get physical, then I build on that through text. A lot of it is bringing up massages, punishment, favors, sexual innuendos etc. It escalates pretty quickly and sets up the next date for more sexual tension. I get replies such as "Damn you, I'm so wet", "You better punish me", "I like men that take what they want".... It's a sealed deal when we meet the next time.

Is it that texting a lot comes off as needy? The reasons I've seen are because you can't build sexual tension through text? Says who? It's all about moderation, and in today's age most people text.
