Advice is everywhere thanks to the internet and the seduction community is teeming with gurus ready to give you the latest tips on how to get the woman of your dreams. From TV shows, to magazines, internet articles to youtube, dating advice is everywhere.

Dating gurus comes in all shapes and sizes promising instant success with girls and a life of parties and models. Let’s all come back to reality for a minute….. Most people who seek dating advice want traditional things like marriage and healthy relationships. Popping bottles with models isn’t winning the game for most people, for most people winning the game means finding someone to grow old with. The reason why most dating advice sucks is because people take advice as rules and not guidelines. If a dating “guru” says it takes 7-10 hours to begin a physically intimate experience with a woman then like sheep people follow and it becomes a rule to them. Here is bombshell for many people… There are no rules to dating….

It’s true, there are no rules, no having to wait 2 days to call her, and none of this BS applies at all. The only rules that exist are the ones that you place on yourself because your fear of losing a connection that you want so badly to continue.

The best dating advice I can give a person starts with understand what THEY want, not what I want for them. Far too often people and even other instructors I know will give advice based on what they have “read” in other articles or heard other people say. After all my experiences in teaching and talking to countless women I can tell you that there are certain things that people look for in potential partners, but often I will shake my head and smile when I see two people get together who tradition teaches us would never happen. Guys tend to learn this stuff and it becomes their life. They read forums about how to get the girl and what the best opening line is all the while they are forgetting what it’s like to be authentic.

News flash, women want nice guys(see note)… just not a supplicating wimp who does everything she ever asks.

Bottom Line: If you can’t stand up to her… how will she know that you can stand up FOR her.

(Note)Nice Guys translates better to respectful guys.

My final point in this rant is that there is so much advice out there from people who think they have all the answers. I have been a coach for 4 years and I will be the first to tell you I don’t have all the answers to everything. I do understand how things work through a whole lot of life experience. I didn’t get my answers from a guru, I got my answers from going out and at the end of the day the best guru is life.
