I'm not really interested in doing pick-up full time, or striving to land that HB10 in my bed. Getting laid is not a priority, but getting a girlfriend is! I've never been intimate with any women before;I'm 21 this year. I just wonder if books such as Mystery's Method or any other good PUA artist book are the equivalent of a self-help book like say Tony Robbins. You know cos not everybody believes it, some dismiss it but for those that can't find a way yet, they find it extremely helpful.

I can talk to women but I can't really hold it in an interesting manner or go about it without asking the same generic questions like Where are you from or What do you study, and I need help injecting humor in my conversations too! Basically require some help to be smooth around women (or anybody for that matter, guys, uni lecturers etc people love a person who can display wit and charm as long as it is within a tad bit of exaggeration and not part of some extended bullshit persona.)

I don't plan on going to bars or anything (either not at all or pretty infrequent) because I messed up uni last time round and having changed my course and uni, I need to redeem myself, but I want to have sort of major change personally and that involves getting better with girls with the eventual aim of getting into dates with girls and etc. But like I said, it is not a big priority so I don't want that messing with my other work, so I won't be able to play the field or anything like that at bars, but my hopes is to gain whatever I can to be smooth with chicks I meet at classes, around restaurants and the occasional bar, in bookstores etc.

Oh btw, I read Neil Strauss' The Game which is why I'm interested in this all of a sudden. That was a good read but it more autobiographical than anything. And plus I've seen some videos of Neil and Mystery and I find those guys likable so I feel more confident listening to their stuff.

TL;DR: I'm looking to be smooth around ladies with the aim of getting a girlfriend. Not really about getting laid at the moment. Will Mystery's Method be a good read?
