I'd say I'm an extrovert. But people confuse introvert and extrovert. It's all about where you get your energy. I get my energy from being around other people. That doesn't mean I don't like my alone time. I love it. And I'm pretty shy in public before I know people.

I've been having a ton of success lately by not even thinking about it. I love to read a lot and most of my free reading time is when I have breaks on campus. When I'm sitting on a bench reading by myself it's almost like girls zero in on me and come do their thing next to me on the bench. If I'm interested I say hi and if I'm not I keep reading.

It's one thing to be shy and willing to say hi and another thing to be shy and get caught staring and making hesitant non-committed eye contact with a girl repetitively.

Like I said I'm more of a shy quiet person even though I get my energy from being around other people. I let it work for me. I realized I don't need to change my whole person to be able to talk to girls, I can work with what I have. So now once I'm in with a girl I listen a lot. And I mean really listen. I always make a note of her eye color and tie it to her name. I also wait for the right moment and drop a real "personal bomb." Something that is kind of personal but at the same time that o don't really mind saying. This makes them feel like they have "cracked" me and it really escalates the interaction and lets her open up as well.

Thanks for reading my rambling...
