As (almost) always, your problem lies in your own expectations. You are trying to woo her out of her pants by only delivering the perfect lines. And in the process of hatching your master plan you totally miss the fricking point: that you have to talk to her at some point. You can't plan the entire conversation. You can't even know whether or not she will get your witty/cute/daring opener. So why fret over it? You don't plan everything you are going to do/say, you won't have time to think that much when you are in the conversation with her, anyways. So you will, inevitably, have to do what all of us do, especially those who are successful with women: be yourself and say what comes naturally. Don't you agree? Of course you do, otherwise you would fret about much more than the opener. It would be so much easier for you if you just accepted that fact for the first thing you say as well. Because there is nothing special about the "opener". It's just the first (few) sentence(s) that you say. At the stage you are right now, your focus should be on opening at all. You WILL get better at it and you WILL be in a position where coming up with a clever opener will help your game. But you are not at that stage yet. Your goal should be to talk to as many people (especially women) as possible to get good at it and to loose the stress you put yourself under.

I am by no means a master in the subject, but a simple "Hey, you want to go get some coffee after this?" might be your best approach. But again, that is but my humble opinon.

Why is no one suggesting the obvious here for someone in school. Ask her to help you with hw, or studying for an exam, or studying for tomorrows quiz, or fuck...just studying. This is by far the most innocent way to get into a one on one situation other than asking if they want to get coffee. Oh and stop thinking so damned much. They won't remember what you say unless it's completely offensive or hilarious. Best to try to be hilarious instead of offensive. Let them know you are into them without whipping out your dick. Take them to dinner for helping you with the studying....have sexy times. You're in school, it's not that hard.
