Women flake because they can. You would flake too if you had 10 hot bitches trying to fuck you every night. Imagine if you're out and 10 hot bitches ask for your number. Are you going to say "no, I already gave my number out 9 times tonight." Hell no! You would give them your number anyway. And then the next day when they called you, you wouldn't hang out with them unless you had absolutely nothing to do, which would be rare beacuse you have 10 HBs trying to fuck you every night.

The only reason you would call back any particular HB is if 1) you guys formed some deep emotional connection that you didn't form with the other HBs or 2) she stood out in some way.

A lot of women just give out their number to get rid of guys and get back to whatever they were doing.
A lot of women give out their number because they genuinely appreciate the effort even though they don't want to date you.
A lot of women give out their number to try you out, and you proceed to fuck it up by being too needy or too boring. So they change their minds.
A lot of women just have trouble saying no -- period. They don't want to hurt your feelings -- at least not in person.
A lot of women just get caught up in the moment and because you didn't make a solid enough impression or because something else came up in the meantime, she just feels way different the next morning.

Some basic stuff in avoiding flakes (just my opinions):

A phone number alone is a last resort. Your first option is insta-date. Your second option is discussing a place to go or a thing to do in person and then getting the number just in case. Your third, final and worst option is getting a number without any sort of commitment.
Never ever ever ever ever act needy. Early on in your interaction with women, neediness is pure poison.
Seduce before you get her number. Don't get her number thinking that you are going to work your magic on the "date". If that's your plan, you may never get a date.

Imagine a girl, someone you have a crash on, just imagine that you could fuck her for say $20, anytime you wanted, would you ?

I'd literally stop everything else I'm doing and just keep a stack of $20 bills next to the bed.

Women flake because:

A. They've lost interest, or

B. Something better came along.

Women flake for a lot of reasons. For example

Because she just gave you her number to get rid of you.
Because your phone/text game sucks
Because she was attracted to you but she woke up the next day and realized she doesn't know who you are.
Because she's playing games
Because she got back together with her boyfriend.

Making her doubt whether you'll hang up isn't going to help you with any of these things. It's more important that you build a strong connection and have solid phone and text game. Work on that and you'll see a big change.

Flaking relates to "buyer's remorse" when you bought something and you are not sure that you made the right choice. Again, this can be prevented if she doubts that she won you over to begin with.

Somehow one needs to figure out what it means for a woman that "she won you over". How does she know ?

More importantly, how does she know that she did not won you over - yet ?

I see some potential for NLP here.

For example reminding her of a situation where she had a crash on someone and that guy set her up and flaked on a date and then transferring this memory to you (maybe funnily by saying "I promiss I will not do that unless you turn off the light before you go to sleep" - or anchoring this feeling to her phone - even better :).
