I'll tell you what I think. Speaking as a man who has occasionally been romanced by a woman (~10% of the time), I see myself as lucky. My wife approached me first and was very romantic. That's still rare af.

For most men romance is a scam. He puts out all the effort to romance her. That was 90% of my romantic interactions with women before I took the wake-up pill (before the red pill existed, wake-up existed, lol) and vetted women better than I did before.

That's my opinion on romance: if you're lucky and you are really discerning about who you date, you might find someone who really puts some effort into romancing you. But you've got to be willing to be alone for long stretches while chucking other women back into the dating market.

There are three important rules in life: never feed the Mogwai after midnight, and never romance a woman who won't romance you back. :D
