I was reading a thread where a guy was sharing that a girl friend that he was interested in College, but wasn't reciprocated is now expressing her romantic interested many years later after a string of bad relationships and divorce. Mean while he had continued to work on himself and focus on improving himself and his career. The guy expressed some frustration/anger that she is only now reciprocating and saying she was always interested.

Out of the wood works came redditors calling this, and any guy who stated this scenario was pretty common a red pill fantasy. They disbelieved that women may come back years later and suddenly be interested in a stable successful guy that they were friends with.

Is this bizzarro world? That sounds like a blue pill beta buck take. Work on improving yourself resulting in viewed with more interest for a relationship.

Or are these guys admitting that they don't actually believe working on yourself have any affect in romantic interest? It don't make sense to me other than just hatred directed towards certain men.
