Hello everyone, I have a question about the kinds of interests and hobbies you all think the ideal HVM would be in to. I'm not looking for a list of "acceptable" interests, just looking to see how i can shape my lifestyle and choices for the better.

To preface this, I'm 18 and I have been concerned (as other guys reading might be) that the ways in which i spend my days are a) wasting time and b) pretty much making me only hang out with guys. Overall not conducive to being a HVM

So as I have read, officially, a HVM is officially someone who isn't manipulative and doesn't women as a means to have sex.

But the idea of a HVM is obviously broader than this and there is a large number of comments from users of the sub-reddit complaining about guys who waste their time gaming etc, which means I'm expecting people to have some strong opinions on which lifestyles aren't desirable.

As a general summary, my interests coalesce around politics, gaming, drinking, (a mixture of these with friends at parties), I play music when i feel like it, some fiction reading, economics, philosophy and maths.

My feeling with these is that at least where I engage with them, they're male dominated and they're a little grungy (idk the best way to describe it because it's a vibe I get).

So whatever you imagine a HVM would do instead of this please criticise. This would be supremely epic.

I also think this will be useful for some other gamers who are lurking who want to know what a HVM would do with their life instead idk. Also kinda really want to engage with this sub-reddit cos it's v/ interesting.
