Okay Ladies let me preface this with a short story so that you understand why I say this.

Once I dated a Harvard Law Grad and was mesmerized by his potential. So much so that I ignored ALL the red flags. He dressed nice, had a solid circle of friends which he introduced me to quickly, and we talked for hours daily. So this is how it ended. He ghosted me after I had sex with him in my most vulnerable moment. Literally after telling him about a traumatic thing that happened to me. He was a fucking savage. Not only did I feel used, I felt robbed. He could have taken my pussy and ran but he took my personal history too. Never did I ever feel more defeated. I went crazy for a period after this, literally having panic attacks, anxiety attacks, and couldn't sleep for weeks.

Of course he didn't cause all of this, but he pushed me over the ledge by ghosting me.

I went through out entire text history to figure out why he ghosted me, and got nothing. But there was one text that particularly stood out that I read like 4x. He was saying something to the effect of planning to scam his landlord or something ( I thought he was joking) and he said veritas. I asked what does that mean he said "Trust, but first verify" And that was literally all I needed to know in that moment. I went along believing in my own perception instead of cross-verifying it with the reality of him which is why I allowed this to happen in the first place.

Remember in life you are half responsible for the situations that meet you
