The shorter threadwould be HVM in cinema 😂 by I appreciate this

True. I just posted this because other men seem to love these awful men. Same with any man in a Kevin Smith movie.

Lmao right?

I think the worst part of the LVM men in cinema is that even "the best movies of all time" have zero HVW. It's like they know they can't match that energy on film.

I know, right. Except for Hercules... the Disney version, though. 🥵

You mean all of them? Lol.
People act so shocked when I tell them I don't watch TV or movies. Why would I when all it is is LVM and pickme women everywhere save for the rare example?
I'd rather invest time into starting my business than wasting it being brainwashed by media to think I need to be insecure and settle for any man I can get lol. Women, never forget that you are the prize, no matter what media tells you. Men are the ones who have billion dollar industries because they can't even get enough sex 😂 we are not lacking

I get more irritated by movies/shows that introduce a LVM and then warp the character into a HVM by the end of the series. Examples:

It's because LV people are in positions of power writing the scripts.
We need more HV men and women writing the next generation of stories.
The public is being sold scraps and internalizing narratives that are damaging and make women naive, and men emboldened with their incompetency.

Okay yes I agree with these except maybe Adam in Girls. I feel like he genuinely becomes a decent boyfriend to Lena Dunham’s character. But maybe I just feel this way cause it’s Adam driver 😭

Wait hold up I totally forgot he starts dating jessa in the later seasons. I retract my comment you’re right he’s very LV

Besides the Jessa thing, he also started off LVM that morphed into HVM for a time because Lena's character was patient and persistent and understanding and wore him down. This narrative is what traps women into thinking they can change a man if they just work hard enough.

Yeah guys like those characters may be funny to watch on screen but are far less endearing in real life.
Great idea for a post!

The only HV person in that entire movie is Maude Lebowski. Everyone else is varying degrees of NV or LV.
