Now this one I never understood. What is it with guys and tampons? When I was living with my ex g/f, or my ex wife, if one or the other was going to the store sometimes the one staying home would ask if they could grab 'x' while they were there. Sometimes the 'x' in question was tampons (if I was the one going). I would get so many comments from people at the stores if I was grabbing tampons and I know this is a "thing" for guys but why? I'm not rubbing my face in period blood; it's a box of fabric.

If the issue is getting anything for them at all well okay that makes sense (although it seems a bit much, no?) but if you don't mind grabbing food, or deodorant or shampoo, then what is it with tampons?

Never got that one.
