Guys, this movie is worth the watch. This is the first time I have ever seen a fair representation of an artificial girlfriend/wife in the character of Joi (Ana de Armas).

-The main character is not portrayed as weak/creepy/pathetic for having one (they seem to be rather common).

-Joi herself is not one-dimensional. She is not purely a pleasure/companionship bot, and while she is clearly oriented toward making the main character happy, she has her own wants and needs and does things on her own independent of his direction.

-The main character's loyalty to her is portrayed as a good thing rather than something sad.

-Joi is depicted as more loving and caring than the real female characters in the story.

This is the ultimate evolution of something like the Gatebox, and if any woman with half a brain realizes it from this movie, she should be terrified.
