Imagine if all your life you were told to chase something and no matter what you did it just went to shit. Then one day you find out it is all a lie. You'd be angry and wanting answers also, here we discuss and share our stories and figure out what went wrong, why, how to avoid it and also vent on the world's shitty double standards for men and women.

It's not an obsession, it's a reaction to the injustice and disgust at the life long lie and stress caused by chasing 'happiness'.

Why are you guys still so obsessed with women if you went MGTOW?

Because the male sex drive is a strong biological force (in healthy men). And thus this biological force, keeps pushing and trying to push men into acting ways that will lead to realionships, etc.. with women.

The continuous reminders of all the dangers and downsides, is a way to help to keep that strong biological sex drive in control. But when you let it just slide, then a man might start to behave in line with the strong biological force of the male sex drive, and making dangerous (for himself) decisions again.

So I think,It's NOT an obsession with women,

BUT A constant and repeating reminder of the dangers/downsides of dating, relationships (so to control the strong male sex drive).

I'm guessing it's because a lot of the guys here have only just started going their own way. Some of it will be guys looking for validation also.

I like the concept of MGTOW (focusing on yourself for yourself is something people should always aim to do) unfortunately some guys have to have an enemy to motivate them to do it.

It's a simple concept. Why are you having so much trouble understanding? This is therapy for us, just like alcoholics anonymous is therapy for alcoholics. Would your advice to them be to ignore the problem? Hiding your proverbial head in the sand doesn't solve the problem. Your view on what we're doing wrong is completely immature. Because women are the one essential topic to any MGTOW forum. There are ample forums out there regarding fitness/finances/hobbies. Mgtow gathering spots are the starting point, and there's a constant circulation of newbies.

As long as the rest of society keeps spewing lies and bullshit about relationships and marriage, mgtow sites are going to keep on that issue.

Tell you what, you clean all the lies and such out of society, and i bet the subject will dry up. Now get to work, you're wasting precious time with this backhanded tone policing! Chop chop!

Ya ever have those Friday nights where you're hanging out with some old work buddies from a place you all worked at that you all hated? How you knock a few back and tell hilarious and grumpy stories about all the stupid shit that happened? And how at the end of the night everyone was all smiles and laughing and having a good time?

This is like that, but slower. But not everyone has quit the job yet, and not everyone is fully over their old dipshit boss. And most importantly, who else can you go hang out with and talk about your old job with besides the people who were there with you?

This sub is a sign post for "better things ahead." It is the inn at the end of a dark and winding road. Men arrive here, unburden themselves, learn thay are not alone in recognizing what they have felt and seen, and after a stay of indeterminate time they leave one day through the sunny forest path to freedom instead of continuing down that gloomy road. I'm not sure how all that would be possible without talking about the thing that makes that other road so gloomy.

You see, if you don't talk about a problem, it doesn't go away, it tends to get bigger. Case and point, they get special rights, and one of them is to avoid consequence and resposibility at will. No one has been willing to say that in decades, and this is where we find ourselves now. Current western women are the most coddled, privileged, selfish, and narcicistic that they have ever been in history.

Angry, or hurt men need to vent. Doing so publicly would get them shunned because the poor little women need defended from any criticism, real or imagined. This is a place that they are allowed to do that without judgement, and receive direction once they've let it all out.

This sub helps men come to terms with the disappointment that women aren't what we were raised to believe they were. It helps men come to terms with the fact that society values us less, and treats us more like livestock. It helps us understand the dangers that women pose to a happy existence, and give evidence of all of these things through posts. So yes, a lot of posts talk about women; just as AA, Alinon, drugs anonymous tend to talk a lot about chemical dependency. See enough bullshit, and maybe your eyes open a bit more and you put down the bottle, pipe, syringe, or woman that is killing you.....

This sub is not the end of the journey of MGTOW. It is the inn you stop at by chance, share truth and wisdom from men who came before you, and begin the journey toward MGTOW.

Let me explain my stance. You are all pretty much incels. You cannot get laid so you cope by pretending you have ascended above women.

You go MGTOW after you have become at least decently good at 'getting laid' and got bored of it.
