No, things are fine. One thing that is universally true is that IQ is a very strong predictor of social stratification when dealing with large populations. If you search for wealthiest people in Mexico, you'll find that almost all of them are white men. If you search for wealthiest people in America, most of them are Jewish men.

Honestly, i think this stems back from WW2. If you look at the ideologies in play, WW2 was about self-identity vs globalism. Germany, Italy, Japan, all believed in strong cultural identity. When they lost, the mindset was put in place that you shouldn't have a strong cultural identity, you should be open to immigrants and other people.

Now, wait 50 years for this to play out. What happens is that so many people migrate that the original country loses its identity, its culture, its values. Culture and values are passed on through traditions, and nowadays traditions be damned. The result is no one knows wtf they are anymore, cultural identity has been lost.

Why do you think Muslim countries hate the west so much? They're afraid that if they lose their culture, their society will be fucked. That's why they're pushing so hard to keep traditions in place.

But the pendulum is swinging back the other way in some countries: close the borders, preserve our culture, preserve our traditions. I have a feeling that some of the strong cultural rhetoric from WW2 will come back.
