Assets will be divided in half and your alimony will be 20% of the difference of the incomes.

So if you make 82k and she makes 40k... no matter what she has done or whose fault it is.... you will pay out 666 a month.

The assets can be negotiated. In your case if she moved out you could keep house.

If I were you, pay her a cash payout instead of paying alimony. Avoid alimony at all cost because it will forever keep you in the legal system.

Here's an eye opener: I'm sure you guys know that gut wrenching feeling he had as he walked in the door. If the roles were reversed she wouldn't have that feeling. Marriage is a legally binding contract that is based on love and emotions which are random and cannot be controlled.

This example is the business equivalent of fraud. She did not live up to her obligations and wedding vows. She should get nothing from the man. Instead some family court will reward her bad behavior and she'll be on to the next victim.
