Exactly. I worked 49 hours last week. My female coworkers worked between 32 and 38 hours BY CHOICE. Everyone was offered overtime last week. I took them up on it, as did other male coworkers. Not one woman did. So we're paid more. Why is that? Oh, the wage gap, of course. The so-called "wage gap" is feminists demanding that women get paid equally for less work.

Like men are chilling giving each other high fives behind closed doors. “We’re really sticking it to those women, aren’t we!” Are you taking into account hours and the specific jobs worked, how many jobs worked, anything other than information without context to prove your point? Confirmation bias to the extreme. Did you know that actually, when those variables are accounted for, a woman makes MORE MONEY per capita doing the same job every hour?

These people are either simpletons or liars. Neither is Indicative of a good thing. They claim corporations are so greedy and evil. So let me ask you this;

If they could pay a woman less per hour for doing the same job, why wouldn’t they just hire a bunch of women and fire all the men?

The wage gap and corporations being greedy are 100% mutually exclusive.

It is true: On average, female career entrants receive a higher salary (did I mention "on average"?). But across all cohorts men earn - on average more - suggesting men do have a career.

Take home message: women age like milk, men age like wine... ...if they go their own way working on themselves not to look better but to get better!

The wage gap is retarded. Where i work we have a pretty massive "pay gap". Out of 3 shifts who do you think earns the most money every week? Night shift. Are there any women on night shift? No. We aren't doing much overtime at the moment because things are pretty quiet. When we do overtime do you think any women work 12 hours Saturday and Sunday? No. One or two might come in for 6 hours on a Saturday. I've never seen a woman in on a Sunday or when we have a shut down week for essential maintenance. All of our technical staff and almost all of our managers are men. We have had a few women work here who might have risen up the ranks but most of them find the place kind of a dump and go somewhere nicer where they don't have to wear steel toe caps or hard hats and that's cleaner.

Every company/industry has set wages, and whether you're male or female that's what you earn. What's unfair is that women are overwhelmingly promoted to management positions.

You show up for work and perform the job expectations and you get paid. If women "earn less" than men, it's because they take so much time off or use being female to avoid real, hard work.

As many men as women need time with their families and for healthcare, but women are notorious for gaming the system and going on vacation when they claim it's "family leave."

They double-dip too. . . By getting hired and entrapping a senseless man at the same time. The man they lie to about paternity and get his wallet, and the employer by abusing pregnancy leave and sick time.

LOL. I've been working at my job for a year. I'm 24 years old, and make 56k as my base salary. There are women there who are 25-28 that have no idea what they are doing, yet make 10k more per year than I do purely out of their tenure with the company, barely doing what they need to do. I've helped them countless times to get things done (and notified my manager about it), yet they continue to get raises and promotions over me. It is fucking mind blowing. I'm about ready to switch companies, yet I'm sure the culture is the same in most big corporations nowadays. It's a clown world.

This is especially true of female engineers. However I honestly don't care. I want women to have money, especially if they work for it. They spend so much of it they keep the economy turning. If women didn't pump money into society at the rate they do, I wonder how many jobs would cease to exist. The makeup industries for a long time employed many production engineers and service engineers before the industry moved to Mexico. If they make more money they should also STFU, but they won't so as always its a lose/lose situation.
