In my experience you would be wrong. Lower energy and less going on means they have more free time to focus on you and what you can do for them. They basically have you and their cat and some kids that avoid their calls. Their mom is their BFF. Older lady still wants to go out and has more refined taste and higher expectations.
Younger girls still have a circle of girlfriends and activities to distract them and they actually care about seeming clingy. They are way more manageable in my experience and the bar has been set pretty low.
